This entity corresponds to BOLD BIN BOLD:AAG6185.
Diagnostic description:
Petridiobius sp. BOLD:AAG6185 can be separated from Petridiobius arcticus by the posterodorsal hairs on the metafemur. In adult males of P. sp. BOLD:AAG6185 these hairs are long and conspicuous; they are much shorter and less conspicuous on adult males of P. arcticus. In females there are short but obviously present in P. sp. BOLD:AAG6185; they are absent or not easily visible in Petridiobius arcticus.
Distribution:
This entity is known from alpine areas in Southcentral Alaska: at Eagle Lake in the Chugach Mountains and at the Mystery Hills in the Kenai Mountains.
